About Me

Ryan Hambury
My name is Ryan Hambury, a Zimbabwean citizen with a global outlook and a strong academic background in International Relations. I hold a Master’s degree in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. My academic and professional interests lie primarily in foreign policy analysis, with a particular focus on offering fresh and critical insights into both familiar and emerging global issues. I am especially passionate about writing articles that explore international relations through multiple theoretical lenses—be it liberalism, realism, or constructivism. I place particular emphasis on perspectives from the Global South, a region and narrative often underrepresented in mainstream discourse. My goal is to contribute to the diversification of International Relations by integrating marginalized viewpoints into the broader theoretical and policy-making frameworks. My work aims to provoke thought, challenge dominant paradigms, and foster inclusive global dialogue.
